Brief Overview:
The Concerning Emotions Report helps you notice students who may benefit from a caring check-in. It uses the check-ins your students have already done, so there's nothing new to set up. If a student's check-ins show a pattern that may need attention, Peekapak lets you know with an accessible and comprehensive report. You'll know you're in the right place when you see this banner at the top of the report:
"This report helps you notice students who may benefit from a caring check-in. It is not a clinical tool and is not designed to detect or assess crisis."
Who is this for?
Teachers can see students in their own classes.
School administrators, counselors, and wellbeing leads see the whole school.
*Students don't see the report, and checking in works the same way it always has.
How does it work?
Your students check in as usual.
Peekapak looks at each check-in as it comes in.
If a pattern may need attention, Peekapak lets you know. This could be an email or a bell notification at the top of your screen within Peekapak. Learn more about these notifications here.
You open the report to see which students may need a check-in. Each student has a level: Emerging, Concerning, or Urgent. Learn what these mean [add link]
You check in with the student. There's nothing to mark as done. The level clears on its own as the student's check-ins improve.
Peekapak always keeps student information private: Emails never include a student's name. You'll only see names in the report after you log in, and teachers only see students in their own classes.
Where can I find it?
Log in to Peekapak.
Go to the Reports tab.
Select Concerning Emotions Report.
You can also open the report from the link in any notification email, or from the bell at the top of your screen.
