If a student has submitted an assignment, and they want to make changes, you can use the retract function.

To retract an assignment that a student has submitted, click on the retract assignment button located as seen below:

The submission details for the student will then be updated to show that the submission is now in progress, and the student will be able to work on and resubmit the assignment.
